  • Medical information and GP details

We also collect “Personally Identifiable Information” that can be used to contact or identify you or your children as members of the organisation. This may include, but is not limited to:

You can request access to all your personal information held by Queensland Show Choir by contacting the Administrative Director.   • It has an unreasonable impact upon the privacy of other individuals

Queensland Show Choir strives to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of your personal information. We use commercially acceptable means, systems and processes to protect our data from misuse, loss and unauthorised access; these systems and processes are reviewed and updated periodically. Some systems are provided to us as a service. We operate these systems within the providers’ terms of service in order to provide security of data.

If a data breach occurs (including hacking, lost hardware, misdirected email) that is likely to result in harm to an individual, under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, we must inform the individual involved and the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). 

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service (“Service Providers”), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services or to assist us in analysing how our Service is used.

These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Analytics

We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyse the use of our Service.

  • Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network.

You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

Email

All our emails will be sent from an official Queensland Show Choir email address (eg someone@queenslandshowchoir.com.au). The use of private email accounts for providing our Service is prohibited. Email transmission of personally identifiable information is strongly discouraged. Disclosure of personal email addresses is prohibited, with the use of email groups or BCC recommended.

Electronic Mailing Lists are used to keep members informed about our Service. Under no circumstances are these lists shared with or sold to any other party, unless required bylaw. Only authorised officers have access to view the electronic mailing lists.
